Keiko Mukaide – glass artist

The relationship of light and space are always my primary source of inspiration. The dichroic glass panels were influenced and have been evolved as a result of my large site-specific installations include ‘Light of the North’ site-specific installation at the Tate St Ives. It creates a wonderful effect of colour reflections and subtle shadows, which create almost three dimensional illusions. New series are a metaphor of a viewing through the round window at the Japanese garden.
